Adrienne Nims: Is a flutist and saxophonist whose passionate energy is well acclaimed. Through her early formal training focused on classical music, she quickly developed a deep interest in jazz and world music. In addition to piano and flute, by age 13 she was also playing the saxophone and performing professionally in Big Bands and classical ensembles. Playing under guest conductors from around the world at New England Conservatory further fueled her appreciation and development in global music. In her professional career, Adrienne has opened for such greats as Spyro Gyra, Kirk Whalum, Joe Cocker, Fourplay, Don Maclean, Box Scaggs, Steppenwolf and more. Adrienne is an accomplished studio musician with credits on over 5 CDs including her own and television soundtracks as well. In addition to her work as a performance and recording artist, Adrienne is also an educator, teaching flute and saxophone, and masterclass presenter for institutes and foundations.
Mark Danisovszky: Is an acclaimed accordionist playing music from around the world. He performs professionally for Italian, French, Jewish, Oktoberfest, Latin, Tango, Classical and Jazz concerts and events as a soloist and in ensembles. Mark has been the featured accordion soloist with the San Diego Symphony for 20 years performing with Itzhak Perlman, Kelli O’Hara, and as soloist for live performances of the films The Godfather, Pixar’s Ratatouille In Concert and Disney’s Mary Poppins. With the San Diego Opera he was the onstage soloist for Wozzeck by Alban Berg and Vanessa by Samuel Barber. He has also appeared with the La Jolla Symphony,
The Atlanta Symphony, and the Hilton Head Orchestra. As a theater musician Mark has performed extensively with the La Jolla Playhouse, including Mother Courage, and onstage with Neal Patrick Harris in the James LaPine world premiere production of Luck, Pluck, and Virtue. His theater career began at the San Diego Repertory with The Cradle Will Rock, Six Women with Brain Death, Red Noses, A Long Story Short, and many productions of A Christmas Carol. Mark won the San Diego Theatre Critic’s Circle’s Craig Noel Award for Musical Direction of The Threepenny Opera. Mark just returned from Houston’s Alley Theatre where he was the onstage accordionist for The Servant of Two Masters. In addition to many performances at Lamb’s Players and Cygnet Theatre, Mark was the musical director for the San Diego premiers of the Sondheim masterpieces Sweeney Todd, Passion, and Sunday In The Park With George. With Bodhi Tree Concerts Mark continues a long relationship after performances of Seven Deadly Sins by Brecht and Weill, Tears Of The Knife by Martinu, andother concerts and revues. He performs often with the Hutchins Consort and other local ensembles. Mark is the accompanist at Temple Solel in Cardiff and is the Musical Director of Vision Center for Spiritual Living. He performs on magnificent handmade Petosa and Maestro Artist accordions with the definitive acoustic accordion sound.
Joe McNalley: Began bass violin studies at the age of eleven and started writing orchestral in his early teens. Formal training with Miroslav Vitous and Hankus Netsky at the New England Conservatory of Music followed by advanced studies at U.C. San Diego. Mr. McNalley has played with a number of notable musicians in the classical, jazz, and world music realms and has been honored several times for his solo and ensemble playing. He has performed with George Russell, Vinnie Golia, Jimmy and Jeanie Chatham’s Sweet Baby Blues Band, Jay McShann, Eddie “Mr. Cleanhead” Vinson as founder of the Hutchins Consort, He has written over 220 arrangements and original compositions for the Hutchins Violins.
