Home Efficiency Assessment Toolkit

The Home Efficiency Assessment Toolkit (HEAT) includes a variety of tools for performing an energy and water efficiency audit. Through the City of Encinitas' HEAT program, Encinitas residents can borrow these tools to identify opportunities for simple home upgrades that save energy, conserve water and reduce utility costs!

Each HEAT contains:

- Energy and water assessment tools to evaluate your home's performance

- A step-by-step guide for conducting your own Do-It-Yourself (DIY) energy assessment

- Several energy efficiency items for you to keep!
