• Work with community organizations to support projects and programs.
• Support our businesses and organizations.

Strengthening and adhering to the General Plan while implementing responsible development.

• Review and update policies, plans, and elements with a goal of implementing legally defensible responsible development.
• Advocate for statewide and regional housing policy reforms.

Roles and Responsibilities

Mayor: Ensure local control of governmental services tailored and responsive to the needs of local citizens.

Council: Prioritize safety, quality of life, a healthy and inclusive community, and environmental sustainability while maintaining the City's autonomy.

Staff: Provide expert advice and information, implementing the City Council's decisions and policies with transparency and accountability to the community.
