Mission Statement

A community-based academy to share information about public services in an inclusive and interactive environment.

Academy Overview

Participants will:

• Meet city leaders and receive a comprehensive overview of the functions of departments, programs, and services
• Visit city facilities and get an inside look at Encinitas government and how its operations intersect with the daily lives of the community
• Learn how decisions are made and how funds are allocated 
• Receive tips for interacting with the city online - 'Digital City Hall', and in person
• Be encouraged to get involved in city service and activities that make Encinitas a great place to live
