The City of Encinitas, in collaboration with the Encinitas Friends of the Arts, is inviting mural artists from San Diego County to submit their qualifications for a large-scale mural for the Encinitas Skate Park.

CALL FOR ARTISTS: SCULPTURE LOAN PROGRAM

The City is inviting qualified artists or artist groups to submit a Proposal Application to loan existing outdoor public art sculptures for a period of two (3) years that will complement specific locations, engage the public, and enhance a sense of community.

An artist or artist group may submit up to ten (5) sculptures for consideration. A separate Proposal Application must be submitted for each public art sculpture to be considered.

ARTIST CALL: 2027 EXHIBITIONS FOR CIVIC SPACES

The artist call for 2D and 3D art exhibitions in one of Encinitas' three civic art spaces:  Encinitas Community Center, Encinitas Library, and City Hall, will open in early April 2027.

INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR ARTS INSTRUCTOR

Interested in becoming a teaching artist? Unique and innovative arts programs are always of interest. If you have a weekly class series, one-day workshop, artist talk, or school-break camp concept, please review the instructions on how to become a contract instructor for the City.

The application to teach arts programming at Pacific View Arts Center is currently closed for class proposals that begin instruction in January 2027. Please check back in 2027.
