The Annual Encinitas Arbor Day celebration upholds the City’s standing as a Tree City USA and gives residents the opportunity to make a sustainable impact and contribution to Encinitas growing urban forestry.

At Arbor Day 2026, community members planted a total of 50 trees throughout Hawk View Park. These trees are a variety of native species that will increase biodiversity, increase shade, and provide a multitude of benefits to future generations visiting Hawk View Park.
