Customers requesting a leak adjustment must complete this form. Adjustments are not given for fixtures left running or the resetting of irrigation timers. Eligibility requirements below.

• One leak adjustment permitted per 36-month period
• Water bill must exceed $200.00
• Partial payment of at least 50% of the original bill amount required
• Repair (absence of leak) must be verified by District prior to submission
• Receipts (for parts and/or services) showing proof of repair must be submitted with request

Any adjustments made will comply with Section 22.26 of the San Dieguito Water District (SDWD) Administrative Code. SDWD has incurred costs to purchase, treat, and deliver water to your property, whether the water was inadvertently wasted or not, and these costs cannot be redistributed among other SDWD customers. Any approved adjustment will not account for the costs affiliated with a repair, system access charges, or any other fees associated with fixing a leak. As such, customers are advised to consider this request form for large-volume water waste incidents only, as minor leaks will generate minimal relief.
